I have an ambivalent relationship with social media: I use it for work, I enjoy aspects of mobile reporting, and I recognize (in parts) what social media is doing to society and communication. But I don't like a lot of what I see, or the analysis I read. The unquestioning belief in some quarters that social media is "making the world a better place" leaves me wondering about humanity. That said, I am not a luddite; I only wish I was. Here's a selection of clips from my stint as social media reporter for @dwnews.
